Today I'm talking to my friend Lori Lothian about becoming a professional astrologer and discussing the nature of the profession. TODAY'S GUEST Thirty years ago Lori landed a gig ghostwriting sun sign paperbacks for a famous and untimely deceased astrologer. Tossed into the deep end of learning astrology, she fell in love with the sacred language of celestial bodies. In 2018 a string of synchronicities led her to study with Acyuta Bhava of Nightlight Astrology -- the traditional wisdom of ancient astrology felt like a homecoming and by the Spring of 2019 she left her career as an online magazine writer, and spiritual awakening blogger to launch her full-time astrology business, Lunatic Astrology. She now reads natal and predictive sky stories for clients worldwide using the techniques of Hellenistic and Babylonian astrology. Lori lives in Vancouver Canada where her spiritual practice includes learning to love the incessant rain.
