98. Express Tip #49: Finding Your New Rhythm

Welcome to this week’s Entrepreneur Express Tip. Today is our Express Tip where I bring you a business tip in 5 minutes or less, and we are talking about finding your new rhythm. Everything changes with the shift into summer. Most of you are dual working households with children out there as you are growing your companies and families, so schedules are changing. So with all the added changes, you need to find a new rhythm. Embrace the new mode and find a different way to get things done so you can still enjoy the moments and the season with our kids, with our families, our teams, and not lose yourself. First, try to get ahead of yourself. Look at the week in advance and plan as much as you can. If you can’t get that far in advance, be sure to map out what's on the horizon at least 1 or 2 nights in advance. Look as far in advance as you possibly can and map out the details. Next, be sure you are communicating the details. For example, Me and Shawn have started a morning little blurb about what’s going on with Team Walter - where are the boys, what are their schedules, who’s with the boys, what my day looks like, etc. It really helps to round out the day to make sure things run smoothly. Communicate this plan as much as possible. Another important tip, simply take a step back and take a deep breath. Know that you will get it all done. It will figure itself out. Everyone out there is in crazy summer mode - it’s just a different speed. You can do this, and you are doing this. So find a new rhythm to get through it, continue to have fun, and continue to build your business. I am really proud of you. It fills my cup to know I am helping you and you are not feeling alone.
