Ana-Maria Jaramillo is the Owner and Founder of Voz Speech Therapy and Co-Founder of La Tejana in Washington, DC! She is a bilingual speech language pathologist with Voz Speech Therapy, helping children increase their quality of life by assisting them with their feeding, swallowing, and communication skills primarily working with children from 1-5 years of age. Both of her parents are from Colombia but she was born and raised in Texas, having growing up in McAllen, TX after 8 years old. The Rio Grande Valley region in Texas was such a huge influence on her that during the pandemic she decided to bring Tex-Mex breakfast tacos to the DC metro area and started La Tejena, and it all started with tortillas! She shares how everyone should ask themselves why they are doing what they do, and to be fearless in business and ruthless in marketing. Ana-Maria mentions how one of the most important things you can do for yourself is to realize your worth, and takes us behind the scenes of how Voz Speech Therapy was started in 2018 and everything she went through!
