By the time Washington Ali was 16, was addicted to drugs and had left home, Now in his twenties, after coming through those turbulent years, Washington is a Personal Freedom Guide, where he helps people who suffer from low self-esteem, anxiety and anger issues, to become braver and happier.
Gary and Washington talk through those teenage years, in which he describes them as being 'curious' and 'lost'. Washington leads us to his most pivotal moments, which helped him see himself for who he truly was and who he wanted to become. After years of wrong turns, he decided to return home, but it wasn't without challenge and the struggle to 'slot' back in.
