Desmond Ridder leads Falcons to 21-19 win over Texans

The Texans dared Falcons quarterback Desmond Ridder to throw the football and he passed for a career-high 329 yards to help lead the way to a 21-19 come-from-behind win at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The Texans keyed on running backs Bijan Robinson and Tyler Allgeier and that left open some passing lanes for Ridder, who leaned on tight end Jonnu Smith, tight end Kyle Smith and wide receiver Drake London. The Falcons improved to 3-2 on the season as Ridder put the bed questions about whether he should be benched.
