Jesus not only recognized the potential in the Galilean fisherman called Simon, He also extended to him an invitation that when accepted opened the door to a highly significant experience of life. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/508/29
God is clearly concerned about a world full of people, but He deals with them one at a time. His intent is to develop their divinely ordained potential. The record of Simon Peter’s experience offers rich insights into what is involved in the growth of a soul. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/508/29…
God came in Christ to offer us forgiveness through the cross. He rose again the third day and set about bringing the world back home. Talk to me, says the Father. Prayer is the means; I have made a way. But there is a problemwe don’t know how. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/508/29…

A bewildered human race is like a man lost in a forest asking, Father, are you there? In 1945, at the end of World War 2, Helmut Thielicke, a brilliant theologian, preaching through the Lord’s Prayer to what was left of his congregation in the ruins of his church in Stuttgart said, Everything will be all right so long as we hear His good voice calling to us above the howling of the wolves, above the sound of branches snapping, above the ominous noises around us. God is always there. A Christian worldview believes in the Fatherhood of God. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/508/29…
The cross of Christ is more often seen as a tragedy than a triumph. But Scripture points out that through Christ’s death and resurrection, God won a victory for humankind that they can and should enjoy for all time and eternity. Paul talked about boasting or glorying in the cross, in marked contrast to those who were undermining both his reputation and his ministry. His apparently extreme statement requires careful examination, for he calls it a rule that all God’s people are to follow. The Lord Jesus asked His disciples to remember Him. He gave them bread and winereminders of a broken body and shed blood. This was how He wanted to be remembered. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/508/29
John Stott says that at Christ’s cross (many) have found their pride broken, their guilt expunged, their love kindled, their hope restored and their character transformed. But many others find the cross offensive. What exactly is the offense of the cross? To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/508/29…
Cicero, the great Roman statesman, said that crucifixion was a most cruel and disgusting punishment and that there is no fitting word that can possibly describe so horrible a deed. Yet the cross became, and is still, the focus of the Christian message. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/508/29…
"And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." It's no secret that all of us will die in the end. Even Jesus died! "Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, 'My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.'" How would you feel if you knew you were going to die painfully tomorrow? When Jesus was in the Garden of Gethsemane, He was struggling with that same knowledge, for not only was He to be crucified the next day, but He was also to bear the weight of all our sin! How did He deal with such emotions? And how can we handle emotions in our own lives? To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/508/29…
It’s been said that we spend just 25 minutes each day in actual conversation. The rest is non-verbal communication, or body language! Crossed arms, a smirk, tapping feet, leaning in, or looking away. It’s interesting how easy it is to get a message across to others without saying a word! So, what are you telling the world, as a Christian, through your body language? What do you do in your kitchen, your car, or when you’re sitting around with your friends, and what does it reveal to others about your faith in Christ? Jill challenges us to look at the ways we can use every part of our body to bring glory to God! To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/508/29…
