Eric Bedell - Holistic Personal Development Coach
Manage episode 293996769 series 2854406
Eric talks about the lessons learned from being a punk rock drummer relate to coaching, Jason and Eric geek out on some Phil Collins and for the first time ever, play some tunes on the show, and Eric goes deep on why leaning into inquiry and curiosity is the thing the world actually needs more than ever.
"Fuck accomplishments and live in the process."
Eric has spent the majority of his life living through experiences that have broken him down along the way; a multi-year battle with disordered eating and negative self-image, failures to approach the world in ways that were best for him, and an upending of who he was from a collapsed marriage. Once the lessons and wisdom from these experiences were integrated into Eric's worldview and consciousness, they became mechanisms for helping others achieve the balance, peace, and clarity of direction that he discovered for himself.
Eric was saved by coaching and became dedicated to and obsessed with sharing the tools and exercises that he learned. By adding ICF-accredited Coach training to his certified personal training background, and undergrad work in psychology and sociology, he was inspired to offer others what he believed to be the most incredible medicine of the self. Those that have been through a coaching process with Eric often admit that life is changed afterwards; fear to move forward subsides and is replaced by the courage to go after whatever they seek.
