08:54 – The Saints beautify Nauvoo.

11:16 – Joseph has not fallen from grace. The Lord emphasizes Joseph’s prophetic role even though he has weakness. What are our expectations of prophets?

14:50 – The significance of official proclamations. Watchmen on the tower warn the Saints of the coming enemy. The disintegration of the family is one of the biggest challenges of our day.

19:29 – The Lord asks Joseph to make the first official proclamation calling the nations of the earth to give heed to Zion.

45:45 – D&C 124 can prompt meaningful discussions about what happens in the temple. Appropriate communication about the temple is important.

53:55 – In the temple we put on sacred vestments as a symbol of changing our very natures as we come into the grace of Jesus Christ. Endowment, sacred vestments, investiture, “putting on,” are all related to the Greek word enduo.

56:24 – Nine individuals receive the endowment in the upper room of the Red Brick Store in May 1842.
