Amanda Cattermole is the Chief Executive Officer of the Australian Digital Health Agency since September 2020. Prior to that, she was the Chief Operating Officer at Services Australia (formerly the Department of Human Services). The Australian Digital Health Agency (the Agency) is the System Operator of the My Health Record system. The Agency provides the leadership, coordination, and delivery of a collaborative and innovative approach to utilising technology to support and enhance a clinically safe and connected national health system. In this episode, Pete and Amanda cover topics such as COVID-19 and the role of digital health, the relevance of My Health Record to all Australians. Pete and Amanda also look at that infamous “I” word - interoperability and what the road ahead looks like for the national digital health strategy.
