With our first episode of 2023, the Fighting Stripes team looks back on an eventful 2022 for the Taegeuk Warriors, while also looking to the future of the national team in this next year. Joining host Michael Welch (@mhwelch1290) this month were Allen Park (@allenpark_) and Joon Park (@parkjoonwon)! On the show, the crew talked about a few players they want to see more of after strong World Cup performances, and also those who struggled or will be replaced in the national team as they get older. We also had a spirited conversation about the managerial search going on to find the next KNT manager after Paulo Bento stepped down from the role at the conclusion of our World Cup run, choosing not to renew his contract. Finally, with the transfer window now open, we ended with a brief segment on moves that are rumored to happen soon. We will have a complete Korean Transfer Window breakdown at the end of January 2023 for you.
