In this week's episode, Dr. Trey Dobson hosts Jeffrey Parsonnet, MD, an infectious disease physician at Dartmouth-Hitchcock and the leader of a clinic designed to help people with enduring COVID symptoms. Dr. Parsonnet arrived at Dartmouth in 1990, having completed his Infectious Diseases (ID) training at Brigham and Women’s/Beth Israel Hospital. He is currently Professor of Medicine at Geisel School of Medicine and an attending physician in the ID Section at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. His research interests have included toxic shock syndrome and treatment of septic shock, and areas of special clinical interest include HIV infection, Lyme disease, and bone and joint infections.
