Hey, hey teacher friend! I hope you are enjoying all summer has to offer. In today's episode we are bringing student centered discussions back to life and putting them in the online classroom with Flipgrid. I LOVE Socratic Seminars. Like, rearranged my classroom, dedicated the morning to one LOVE. So, I was pretty bummed when the pandemic took this option away. That's why I love Flipgrid. It's a safe place for students to respond to you, or their classmates using short videos they create. Video can be scary, so this is a safe place to nudge both you and your students out of your comfort zones. Think TikTok and Instagram Reels...how much do your students love these? It is a great hook for this edtech resource.
