Tan Xuet Ying, a senior speech therapist at Tan Tock Seng Hospital volunteered to be an assistant nurse to screen thousands of COVID-19 patients – despite having a two-year-old at home. She talks about how her sister, a doctor who cared for the infected in the UK, was a big motivating factor.
