A pivotal word in the Bible and the world we live in is therefore. Behind every moral command, or therefore, in the Bible is God. We are made by and for God, therefore we are to love and obey Him. The world constantly tells us how to think and live yet often ignores the therefore behind the call to conform. In 1 Peter 4:7-11 Peter makes a sweeping revelation from God “the end of all things is near” and follows it with a therefore and 4 commands. We are called to live God’s revelation not human speculation. Learn to pay attention to the therefore!
