Breitbart News International editor Frances Martel says that the U.S. must "study other countries" for a good reason: "So we can see the warning signs before they become so obvious there’s no turning around." The daughter of Cuban refugees, Martel has a unique perspective about the need to be "very vigilant" of global affairs, stating emphatically that America is "still the standard" of the world while also acknowledging that what happens in other countries affects us: "If we ever feel like it can't happen here, it's going to happen here," she states.
