You can have an alcoholic drink during your fitness journey, that’s okay! The key to tracking your alcohol consumption is proper planning! Huh, funny how that works. Most people think that you have to cut out alcohol completely when on a diet, which yes, that is an excellent idea, but it doesn’t mean you have to. You can have a cocktail or two as long as it fits your MACRO’s. Now you may say, “but what nutritional value does alcohol give?” NONE! That is key, and you have to keep in mind that there is no nutritional value, which means that you will be hungry and not have any MACRO’s left. Planning is key! We discuss the effects of alcohol on our body and the adverse impact on our health and fitness.
