It's really expensive to build our own audiences from scratch. Earlier this year, I realized I needed to be known to a lot more people since I am so niched. I've spent a lot of money on ads and was also in a few Summits. But it the last month or so, I've really picked up the torch to being my own advocate through relationships. In episode 160 I talked about my networking as a pre-runway for podcast pitching and it's served me really well. As of month end last month I pitched 17 shows and received 5 immediate yeses. That's pretty damn good.
