A good education opens all kinds of opportunities for our children. Sara knows that and so do you. So when we see our schools injecting politics and ideology into the classroom instead of focusing on the content our kids need to be successful in life, we must have the power to change things. Whether in voicing our concerns to the school or having the freedom to send our kids somewhere else, we should be the ones deciding what is best for our kids.
Sara also highlights the efforts of congressional Republicans to provide a "parents bill of rights" when it comes to education. Texas Rep. Monica De La Cruz joins her to explain her support for the bill and why she was able to become the first Latina and the first Republican to win in her district in a very long time.
