We walk through three ways you as a DM can put completely insane combats in front of your players and know that they will feel good about the high-stakes, dangerous encounters. These are scary waters for DMs to wade in, but a dangerous D&D setting is a big part of the players' fantasy fulfillment. And when done well, sets the stage for life-long tabletop memories.
