The Heart of the Matter - New Moon in Leo!

We welcome in a New Moon in Leo today, and that's just for starters! In this supersize episode I discuss what conversations are taking place among the planets and who is taking the lead. This Moon asks us to connect to what our heart is calling for us to do or experience! With both the Sun and Moon in Leo meeting up in a fixed fire sign we are being asked to lead with confidence. What is your heart asking of you at this time? The fire energy of this New Moon connects us to our intuition and our creativity. This Moon has a fortunate trine with Jupiter (planet of expansion, luck, and faith). There may be some unexpected opportunities for you over the next couple days! Jupiter, in Aries (fire sign) also begins its retrograde phase with this New Moon. Jupiter entered Aries back on May 10th and this retrograde will ask us to go inward and reflect on what we have done and how we have strengthened our willpower and courage in order to help us move in this world with our true self. Jupiter retrograde is going to want us to keep the faith even if we find things slowing down.

I discuss more about the big energy of Uranus (planet of independence and surprises) conjunct with the North Node (where we need to grow beyond our comfort zone) also happening at this New Moon. Uranus, the North Node, and Mars are in the fixed earth sign of Taurus. Taurus wants to see results for the work it has done but Taurus is patient and willing to be persistent. This conjunction may provide some quickening to the growth you have been working on and may revel some surprises you were not aware of but will help with your evolution and Soul's purpose. Our friend Mercury (planet of communication) also in Leo is squaring Uranus during this New Moon and so it is important to ground your energy, so you don't find yourself in an anxious or worried state. This is a great time to be out in nature or to be listening to music.

We also have Saturn (planet of mastery) retrograde in Aquarius, a fixed air sign, which will be squaring Uranus during this New Moon. This orb brings us some of the things you may have dealt with last year when Saturn and Uranus met up in a square three times in 2021. This energy is about our need for independence (Uranus) while using our freedom in a mature (Saturn) way that solidifies our actions for a successful outcome.

This weekend wraps up with Mercury in Leo opposing Saturn in Aquarius on July 30th, and this may cause some delays in plans or movement forward. This is a good time to be careful of what you put in writing or commit to in writing as well.

On Sunday, July 31st, we have the Sun in Leo perfecting a trine with Jupiter in Aries. This fire energy can help you push forward or get moving again if you have fallen off course. And we have Venus (planet of relationships/values) squaring Chiron (planet of healing and wholeness) so this is a good time to tend to relationships that may need your attention or healing including within yourself.

We start off Monday, Aug. 1st with a new month and the exact conjunction between Mars (planet of willpower/courage), Uranus and the North Node. Stay grounded as you absorbed this energy so that you can use this to propel your projects and purpose in a tangible way. We also have Venus in the sign of Cancer who is the ruler of Taurus making a positive sextile to both Uranus and Mars and with her guidance we will be able to express that which we are working towards or with. And finishing up this week ahead we have Mercury moving into its home sign of Virgo. This may be just what we need to organize all the energy that we will be working with during this coming week.
