Peter Coyle is our guest on this episode of Revenge of the 80s Radio. We talk with the Lotus Eaters' co-founder about his career, the early days, his influences, solo career and songwriting philosophy.
Peter has always held true his main mission when it comes to creating music. It is best said on his website:
"I have tried to write songs. Songs that matter to people. Songs that help people get through the day. I have not focused that much on trying to sell the records. I believed that if I wrote the right song then the rest would take care of itself. I still believe it. I still think that if a song is right it will find some way of getting out there into people's hearts and souls." - Peter Coyle
Peter continues to tour and work on new music, including a new track released on Dec. 3, 2021, which we will play after our conversation. We also talk about another project on which Coyle is working with a band called ESP.
