Confidence is the belief in someone or something that can be relied upon. A firm trust. Self confidence is the belief in ones self affirming strong character and being trustworthy. Belief is based upon truth. If you are in fact trustworthy and you do show up and are reliable then the truth is affirmation that you do exude confidence. Muscles gain strength and definition by adding weight and completing many repititions. The same is true for confidence, the more you show up and can be relied upon the more confidence is entrusted to you. Often confidence is espoused when completing selfless acts for the benefit of others. When providing service and care on behalf of God's expression this is where true confidence is grown.
