A reading from the holy gospel according to St. Mark
2 And after six days, Jesus took with him Peter and James and John, and led them up a high mountain apart by themselves; and he was transfigured before them,
3 and his garments became glistening, intensely white, as no fuller on earth could bleach them.
4 And there appeared to them Eli′jah with Moses, and they were talking to Jesus.
5 And Peter said to Jesus, “Master, it is well that we are here; let us make three booths, one for you and one for Moses and one for Eli′jah.”
6 For he did not know what to say, for they were exceedingly afraid.
7 And a cloud overshadowed them, and a voice came out of the cloud, “This is my beloved Son; listen to him.”
8 And suddenly looking around they no longer saw anyone with them but Jesus only.
9 And as they were coming down the mountain, he charged them to tell no one what they had seen, until the Son of man should have risen from the dead.
10 So they kept the matter to themselves, questioning what the rising from the dead meant.

Hello there, my name is Shayne. I'm speaking from Ireland, it's a pleasure to be with you today.
Today we are gonna have a look at the passage of the transfiguration. The important sentence I’d like to draw upon from today is the first sentence actually.
And after six days Jesus took with him Peter and James and John, and led them up a high mountain apart by themselves;
and he was transfigured before them, and his garments became glistening, intensely white, as no fuller on earth could bleach them.
So an interesting way here is the word “glistening”. So you pronounce it glistening, glistening.
And “glistening” means to shine brightly. An example of where you can use the word glistening as you’re at sea the water as glistening underneath the sun.
意思是“发着闪耀的光”。用glistening来举一个例子:the water as a glistening underneath the sun(如果你在海边,可以描述,水在太阳下闪闪发光)。
In the transfiguration, this is the second time in the gospel that all three members of the Holy Trinity have been revealed.
God, the father, speaking as a voice; the Holy Spirit; And of course, Jesus is also present.
And the Holy Trinity is a relationship, is a relationship of love, and we are called as Catholics to enter into this relationship, and we can look forward to partaking in this relationship in eternity and we can elevate ourselves towards the Holy Trinity through prayer.
That's all I have for you today. Thank you so much for having me and keep active and keep up the good work, this is beneficial for you.
