The system is broken to the point where access to primary care isn’t that easy for most people. Direct primary care aims to change that and more. For the patients, it means increased access to competent doctors without having to deal with the headaches that come with institutional medicine and medical insurance. For the doctors, it means they get to practice medicine the way they envisioned it would be like instead of just being a cog in lumbering institutions.
