So I’m guessing there are moments, days, or periods of time when you’re feeling a little overwhelmed, a little out of your element, or you’re getting caught up with fears and concerns.

My hope with this episode is that no matter what’s going on in your life, something I share here today will be exactly what you need to hear to feel a little better, to find a little hope or encouragement, and to remember that you’re not alone in this incredible journey of motherhood.

I’m here to reassure you that you are doing your best in this moment. We all need to give ourselves a little grace.

Parenting isn’t a one-size-fits-all situation. We have to learn what works for each child.

So when you need help, whether it’s help for you or help for your child, remember that it’s not all on you. If you or your child is struggling, take a look at what you need and be willing to seek out support.

I really believe that you’re not “failing” as a mom if you need extra help and that, in fact, being willing to seek extra support either for yourself or your child makes you a better mom because you’re trying to do the best to support your child/children.

And in the end - I think that’s what matters most. It really doesn’t matter what any other mom is doing or how any other child is doing in comparison to my children or our family. All that matters is that I’m doing my best to support and care for my kids and that they know they are loved.

So the next decision you have to make with your child/children, remember that you are the expert on your child. You’re making decisions with love and with the information you have right now. You’re doing better than you think you are and you’ve got this.
