Opening Bible verse: James 1:22-25
Are you a hearer or a doer? Do you take in all the information? Buy all the personal finance books, listen to all the podcasts and talking heads, yet haven't started doing anything with your money? In today's episode, I challenge you to move from being a hearer to a doer. Retiring with dignity and living a life of financial freedom is in your control. May today mark the day that you start living a life of abundance, the life God has designed for you. He doesn't want you to struggle month to month, He loves you. But you've got to do your part too.
Today's episode is the second part of episode 101. Your fixed costs should be no higher than 60% of your monthly take home pay. If your fixed costs are at 60% or lower...great! You are well on your way to a life of financial freedom. Except, you don't feel like you're on your way. You still have to pull out the credit card to cover any financial surprises. A few hundred dollars a month, would really help. Let's see how we can find those extra hundred dollars each month so you can breathe easier and ultimately, pay off debt, build savings, and retire with dignity
The budgeting app mentioned in this episode is the Everydollar App
