ISL 2021: Regular Season Preview

In this episode of the Propulsion Swimming Podcast, we will be giving you our preview of the ISL 2021 regular season that involves the 10 returning teams from last year. The 10 clubs in the International Swimming League 2021 are: Aqua Centurions, Cali Condors, DC Trident, Energy Standard, LA Current, London Roar, NY Breakers, Team Iron, Tokyo Frog Kings, and Toronto Titans.

The ISL is an annual professional swimming league, established in 2019. It features a team-based competition format with fast-paced race sessions which are swam in short course meters (25m).

With this being its third season of the International Swimming League, we get to watch numerous Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games Champions as they go head to head swimming for their ISL clubs. Big name swimmers who will be racing include: Caeleb Dressel, Adam Peaty, Lilly King, Sarah Sjostrom, among many more.

We break down the rosters of each team, where their strengths and weaknesses are, and also give our predictions of who will qualify for the playoffs.
