Kat Vellos is the author of We Should Get Together: The Secret to Cultivating Better Friendships which was released in January 2020. Based on the overwhelming support of the book and her related expertise as a Connection Coach, she left her prior job to go full-time on speaking, coaching, consulting, and advising. She is also the Founder of both Bay Area Black Designers and Better than Small Talk. Previously, she was User Experience and Product Designer at Slack, Pandora, and multiple Silicon Valley startups.
