Georgia-Based Percussion Performer, Specialist, Educator and Media Company Owner Marcus Hawkins stops by to talk about his various gigs and work with Drum Corps (02:40), his professional beginnings and the finer points of playing drumset (14:50), Marcus Hawkins Media and working through the pandemic (22:10), growing up in Georgia, his early music training in church and early years with Winter Guard and Drum Corps (44:10), his undergrad years at Jacksonville State University and gigging outside for college (01:00:45), his post college life (01:15:50), and settles in for the Random Ass Questions on the techniques of sound, Outkast, great books and Yebba (01:21:40).
