Biography: Joseph Parent is a well-regarded writer and lecturer on international affairs, Parent received his Ph.D. from Columbia University. Professor Parent, who came to Notre Dame after teaching at Miami, is currently Associate Professor of Political Science and Associate Director of the Notre Dame International Security Center. He teaches international relations theory, security studies, grand strategy, and foreign policy.
