Manage episode 371456168 series 1402110
This week's episode combines both Metal Tales for the M72 Gothenburg shows. Clint spoke to patrons Ian Hatfield (night 1) and Martin Rydholm (night 2) about their unique Metallica stories, 72 Seasons and their respective setlists for each show representing the end of the 2023 M72 European tour.
In the housekeeping section, Clint addresses the allegations that Metallica is replacing Lars' kick drums on their official M72 tour videos, recent criticism of Reload, Jason's strange method of testing his bass guitars and how Metallica was the inspiration for Tenacious D's song "Tribute."
In the E-mail Portal, Clint discusses which Metallica lyrics have changed for him and why, his favorite Metallica lyric, being an ambassador for the Load era, the best/favorite songs from each studio record, a future Hetfield solo record and where to find Spotify playlists of each show from the M72 tour. Enjoy!
