The Beginner's Mind

Sometimes our thinking mind and what we believe to know to be true prevents us from seeing things as they really are. A beginner’s mind is present, focused and lacking any judgment. It is to be curious about everything. Having a beginners mind helps us to learn and grow. It enables us to get past old, pre-conceived ideas of people and situations. It strengthens our belief in our self. It help us to be honest with our self and others.

I Am

I am not what I am going to do or what I have already done. I am a unique vibrational energy that is conscious, connected, timeless and eternal. I AM. I just am. Diminishing our ego enables our humanity to shine through. Our physical body is ruled by our largely unconscious egos. Ego is focused on labels, beliefs, accumulating possessions, roles and thoughts. It wants something to be different than it is and is focused on past or future, never on the reality of the present moment.
