ABOUT DREW LARIMORE: Drew Larimore is a playwright, librettist, and screenwriter with internationally produced works. Drew is originally from the South with a focus on crafting strong, fallible, and complex female protagonists in seemingly unreal circumstances. His work has been highlighted in The New Yorker, The New York Times, Theatrius, This Week in New York, TheatreMania, Australian Stage, Aussie Theatre, and Theatre in the Now.

His play, Smithtown, starring Michael Urie, Constance Shulman, Ann Harada and Colby Lewis was adapted for the screen and premiered digitally in 2021 through the Studios of Key West. Drew made his Off-Broadway debut with Out of Iceland, which starred Lea Delaria, at Walker Space in early 2012. His play, The Anniversary, is published in Vintage Press’ anthology of new work, Shorter, Faster, Funnier. The Cannibals of Mcgower County, the first in a trilogy about the changing American South—was developed with Asolo Repertory’s Unplugged New Works Festival and featured in Denizen Theatre’s New Play Development Series. He has been a semi-finalist at the O’Neill Theatre Conference, The Lark Playwrights’ Week, the Heidman Award, P73 Playwriting Fellowship and a writing residency at Hawthornden Castle in Scotland.

Additional writing residencies include Djerassi, Key West Literary Seminar, Studios of Key West, and Telluride Playwright’s Festival. A former member of Ensemble Studio Theatre-LA’s Playwrights Coalition, he is based out of New York only when he’s not aggravated with New York—developing new plays, musicals, as well as original and adapted work for the screen.

ABOUT BILLY RECCE:

Billy Recce is a Billboard charting, two-time MAC and NEO award-winning writer, composer and singer/songwriter living in New York City.

One of the most prolific young musical theatre writers of his generation, Billy’s career began with the award winning and international headline making Balloon Boy: The Musical, for which he was the youngest writer ever selected for the New York Musical Theatre Festival at 17. Its World Premiere Production was featured on CBS, NBC, NPR, Colorado Public Radio, TIME.com, the LA Times, and even Fox News, and has since been produced across the country.

By the time he was a senior at Fordham University, he had already penned the music and lyrics to a hit off-broadway musical; the long running “A Musical About Star Wars,” which transferred to St. Luke’s Theatre for a year long run after an initial run at Theatre Row. Its cast album is available on Broadway Records, and in Winter of 2021 it will embark on a National Tour.

Before he was of legal drinking age, Billy had co-authored songs for Bernadette Peters, Mandy Patinkin, Laura Benanti and Tituss Burgess on “The Birds and the BS with Jordan Roth,” served as the head writer and composer of the Award Winning BroadwayWorld sitcom “Rachel Unraveled” and sold out 54 Below several times with his traveling “Snowflake Jamboree” concerts—a raucous, anything goes concert series featuring Broadway Stars and a merry band of newcomers singing his musical theatre and comedy songs.

In 2018, Billy won his first MAC Award for Comedy Song, and repeated his win in the same category in 2020. In 2017, Recce was the recipient of the York Theatre Company NEO Award. In October 2018, his debut album “The Perks of Being A Snowflake” was released on all music platforms. In 2021, Broadway Records released the All-Star Concept Recording of his Theatrical Rock Concert about the life of Heidi Fleiss, “Little Black Book,” featuring Alice Ripley, Lillias White, Jessica Vosk, Orfeh, Mandy Gonzalez and more. The album debuted at #11 on the Billboard Charts and #6 on the Apple Music charts.

Billy’s expansive body of work includes the musicals DIMES (NY Theatre Barn, Theatre C, Fordham), Additional Songs for NEWSICAL (Theatre Row) The Bestest Office Christmas Party Ever (NY Theatre Barn), Duo/Trio (The Motor Company), The Charlatans (Fordham) & Wally Weasel’s GOP Jamboree (Fordham). He has been an artist in residence at the Orchard Project Greenhouse, a NAMT finalist, and a Wallowitch Award finalist. and his work has been performed at 54 Below, The New Amsterdam, Broadway in Bryant Park, Lincoln Center, The Tilles Center, The Kennedy Center, Signature Theatre, Ars Nova, The York Theatre, The Green Room 42 and beyond. His TYA work has recently been singled out in The NY Times. Recently, he has been creating short form musical content on TikTok, amassing over 2 Million views in his first month on the app.

He is a proud member of ASCAP and the Dramatists Guild.
