Janique-ka John (she/her) is a Software Engineer who discovered programming while pursuing her Bachelor's degree at the University of the West Indies Cave Hill and went on to earn a Master's Degree in Applied Computer Science. Janique-ka is also the Founder of the Women in Tech Caribbean Community, where she advocates for greater diversity and inclusion in the tech industry.

In this episode, we'll discuss Janique-ka's upbringing and how she fell in love with computing. We’re going to talk about her motivation for starting the Women in Tech Caribbean Community, and the challenges she faced promoting diversity in the tech industry.
