Ms. Schmuch will discuss: safety and quality of life concerns for persons with dementing illnesses; the role and perspectives of family/caregivers and clinicians as they confront safety and quality of life concerns; how clinicians can assist patients and caregivers with the challenging decisions they face; and community resources to assist in caring for persons with dementing illnesses.
