The cost of being on the cloud is rising. It has been suggested that cloud costs are already, on average, the second-largest line item after headcount for FinTechs. Add in the bump up in costs caused by AI adoption and it’s easy to see that while CTOs may be happy with their ‘new toys’, CFOs could be looking worried.
