125: The Reset Rebel meets Dundee Hairdresser and Artist Jef Mercury

Ibiza - The Reset Rebel

¨For a Life Reset, I walk the Dog,¨ says the Dundee hairdresser Jef Mercury who has lived in ibiza for just over 5 years.
He did a lot of walking in lockdown, mostly around the circumference of his own home, as the rules did not allow for much further exploration.
However, it did give him the much needed Reset he needed after he started to go stir crazy after the first few months and says he used the time to get creative and started painting. Back Home he had more than 30 salons and was busy ¨living his life on the clock¨ and he told Jo how Ibiza life has allowed him to ditch his watch and carve out a niche for himself on his own terms.
He has cut the hair of everyone from Eva Longoria to Ewan McGregor and says something very special happens when you learn how to interact with someone in the world of hairdressing and says many life lessons have come on the job, so to speak.
Jef certainly lives up to the title of the series and was a full blown rascal before resetting his own life and getting into his art which has taken him around the world and to cat walks and working for the likes of Vogue magazine. He has seen it all and has lots of good stories.
