Welcome to this weeks episode of Heavy Metal History. My guest is a LONG time coming, my best friend Eric Weatherford. Weatherford used to be the guitarist in metalcore/thrash/shred band With Faith or Flames. He is now back with a new musical project infusing shred guitar/heavy metal with synthwave music. Weatherford and I discuss the days of touring in 2008, what it was like as an up and coming band around the myspace era and the pitfalls of trying to jump on genre bandwagons. His passion for music and his musicianship is so authentic and I hope that my listeners will check out a new artist and possibly discover his old band as well!
