This week on the grappling rewind podcast Maine and Josh recap Fight to Win 158 headlined by Elizabeth Clay and Rafaela Guedes we talked about the week's BJJ news including some MMA grappling and preview who's number one headlined by Kaynan Duarte vs Rodolfo Vieira.

In the news section of the show we talk about some MMA grappling including Gary Tonons most recent fight in One FC, and some other news surrounding the BJJ community, including the upcoming Third Coast Grappling 5.

In the recap section of the show we talked about F2W 158 and the Welterweight Title bout between Elizabeth Clay and Rafaela Guedes including Guedes staying patient and sticking to her game plan. We break down how Rafaela shut down the entries of Clay and about the slams that most likely led to a dominant decision for the title. In Sam Nagai versus Marcio Gomez we talked about the Caio Terra foot lock grip variation we saw in the match, and some other interesting grip work from Sam; specifically a pant grip on me prior to finishing the submission. We also talked about Felipe Trovo versus Matheus Luna that saw a an active collar choke from the guard game played throughout.

We also recap Ethan Crelinsten vs. Elijah Carlton a $10,000 heads up money match between the two Grapplers at the Freedom Grappling Invitation.

In our preview of who's number one WNO headlined by Kaynan in Duarte versus Rodolfo Vieira we talked about the rematch between the two men this time in no-gi. We talked about the level of activity from Rodolfo recently in contrast to Duarte, and stylistically how they will both match up. We also discussed the rest of the card including Geo Martinez vs Kennedy Maciel at a catchweight of 150. A very compelling Strawweight matchup between Mayssa Bastos and 10th planet new stand out black belt Grace Gundrum In one of the most highly anticipated strawweight bouts of the year. We discuss Middleweight Roberto Jimenez going up against historic Welterweight Dante Leon and the pathway to victory for Leon. We give thoughts on Vagner Rocha vs Jon Blank, and Tye Ruotolo vs Kody Steele.
