Heroic embellishments, tall tales, and outright lies have been promulgated about America's Founding Fathers since our country's inception. Plenty of "scholars" have created or repeated complete fabrications regarding the beliefs and religious practices of the framers of our constitution as part of a broader effort to promote the false notion that America is a Christian nation.
