In this episode, Kaylin talks about her experience renting an SUV rental car using Turo, but when the car she had originally rented was reported stolen, the last car that was available to rent was a Tesla Model 3. Enter Elon.
There were a lot of specific rules when using the car from the previous owner and, having watched the instructional video, Kaylin wasn’t worried as she can thoroughly follow the rules and has nothing to hide. With an e-car, the most important rule is that the car should be kept charged between 80% and 20%, no lower.
Now, the previous renter had left the car in less than ideal condition, with a handwritten note left on the console to explain themselves. The most pressing issue? Kaylin and her family had less than 20% of charge left to find a supercharger station.
