So What is The New Mom School?
Manage episode 341842861 series 2906188
Today's episode is part 6 of Sandy's 7 part series on her postpartum journey. This interview is with New Mom School's founder and parent educator
Alexandra L. Spitz
After having her first son in early 2011, she instantly became obsessed with everything baby! She joined a Mommy and Me group in Los Angeles where she met 11 other amazing women whose babies were born within weeks of her son. She had no idea the positive impact this group would have on them all nor did she ever think that the women would become some of her best friends. She didn’t know it at the time, but this group would change her life. It also would inspire her to create The New Mom School...
The New Mom School played a really positive impact on Sandy's postpartum days. Being able to bond with other new moms in the exact same stage of motherhood has been so comforting; Sandy and Alex chat throughout this episode what the new mom school experience was like and how it helped her feel so supported and connected as a new mama.
