Ep 125 - Your physical health was probably compromised pretty severely during your active addiction. For many the body breaking down was the signal that rock bottom was approaching, perhaps even faster than you had imagined. The first year of your sobriety it is important that you do what ever you are able to do in order to get yourself heading in the right direction.

That first year it is crucial that you shift your idea of what it means to eat healthy and be active. How do you feel about exercising? Going to the gym? Walking after dinner? Breaking a sweat? Whatever you thought about these things throughout your life and addiction, it is time to evaluate these beliefs and opinions and work your way toward embracing an active lifestyle.
