But you can't help people, if you believe that “God is mad at you.” Just like the prodigal son coming home to his father in shame, fear, and unworthiness - we ourselves get in a cycle of separation from he Father. But the Father is welcoming us home! In our mess, in our pain, in our problems - He is still welcoming us home and wants to wrap us up in His arms and hold us.
