We experience the natural world through the prism of our toxic dust and YouTube clips of lions devouring leopards. The average city dweller with a computer experiences 10,000 ads per day. Yes, there is the occasional super storm that pokes through our bubble, but the storms and floods aren’t thought of as coming "from an Earth". They are "natural disasters" -- mysterious uprisings of the elements, with no source at all. We wander on, as the ads circle us... and the Extinction accelerates.
