Well howdy there, ya slimy goofs. Look here. Covid restrictions are lifting across the U.S. and the world is slowly returning to normal. However, we’re not out of the woods yet, and in the name of precaution, we’re recording remotely this week. The good news is since we’re all stuck in our homes, we’ve opened a link to a parallel dimension in which CHRIS IS BACK! That’s right, turd nuggets, Chris is back!

In order to celebrate we’re chilling in the ’80s again (kinda). Practical effects, cheesy one-liners, monsters at every turn, and all the other things that make Chris giggle like a pre-teen getting their first kiss. We’ve been working on our night moves, so you know what that means, we’re discussing Nightbreed. On a side note, the haomie Cal Gee has done some amazing art for this week’s episode. Written and directed by Clive Barker (Hellraiser, Books of Blood) Nightbreed follows Aaron Boone. He’s haunted by terrifying nightmares of a city of monsters so he goes to see a psychiatrist, Dr. Decker (David Cronenberg), for help. But what Boone doesn’t know is Decker is a serial killer. He frames Boone for his murders, and Boone is killed by the cops. But the Nightbreed, the monsters of his dreams, bring Boone back to life. Then they all join forces to stop Decker from killing again.
