Isaiah 9:6 announced, “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
This is the real reason for the Christmas season.
But peace does not seem to exist in the world Christmas 2023, in part because God knows people will be drawn to him at such times and in part because he allows people to choose right versus wrong.
Jesus Christ is the only source of ultimate peace in this world.
