In the second episode of Corrosion the crew of "The Diligence" lands on a desert planet with a huge ancient monument and made their way through the first floor. Finding a new, bigger monster, and even bigger science, they are on their way to rewards and riches.

• Roanoak Dannon, a mob boss' daughter and archivist, cuts out some monster guts and gets a literal bloodbath
• Captain Ezra Rose, starship pilot and gunslinger, expertly guns down a spider before passing out in a pile from tasting it's 'blood'
• Kayaa Calwin, chemist and sentient blob creator, makes the best sandwich and gets a very special carapace after a day's hard work
• The Falcon, Roanoak's devoted bodyguard, takes a splash in some monster acid
• Valerian, the ship's plague doctor, locks himself out of the ship... again
