Alana Springsteen is a Country Music singer/songwriter who just released her sophomore EP "History of Breaking Up (Part 1)". Alana joins Country Music Made Me to talk about her early love of music, her first performances singing the National Anthem at her local baseball stadium and a performance at Wrigley Field for the Chicago Cubs that would eventually lead to regular trips to Nashville. She describes moving with her family to Music City at the age of 14, what it was like navigating the start of a music career at such a young age, and the moments that led to the release of her debut EP in 2019. Finally, she talks about her new EP, what it was like writing with some of Nashville's heavy hitters like Walker Hayes, and the stories behind some of the tracks.
