The guest on Compliance Time podcast in this episode is Nick Turner and we will talk about sanctions - a topic which we have not yet covered on the show.

Nick is Of Counsel at Steptoe & Johnson in Hong Kong, where he specializes in economic sanctions, international regulation, and compliance. Prior to joining Steptoe, he served as a regional sanctions compliance officer, based in Hong Kong, for a US-based multinational financial institution, after completing the bank’s two-year compliance management associate program in New York and California.

In 2020, he was named to the Global Investigations Review (GIR) list of "40 Under 40" global investigations specialists. Nick is a frequent speaker at conferences and workshops throughout Asia and is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS). He also publishes a weekly summary of sanctions news and commentary on LinkedIn and Medium. You can find the links in the show notes.
